Burlington County Library System
The Burlington County Library was established in 1921 as the first county library system in New Jersey. As a public library we are open to all but provide access to collections and resources to members of tax-paying communities. BCLS offers access to print and digital collections, community-based programs and research services at eight branches and seven member libraries around the county.
The Challenge
Libraries are no strangers to tough budget decisions, current economic conditions are adding new layers of complexity. In this day and age, the digital world is the key resource of most people's lives and how they get their information. That leaves many librarians wondering how to preserve the heart of the library while still meeting today’s digital-first expectations.
Solution
To provide information and resources across Burlington County for the community. The ability to help promote content, events and programming to the public.
